This are only a few question you can think about while asking yourself what kind of photographer are you. For me photography is such a personal feeling, your style will hold loads of information about you! Your taste, your opinion, your own and personal point of view! Pinterest is really helpful when it comes visualize content, I love that platform!

Instagram for me has been so bad, in this sense. I was constantly trying - and failing of course - to replicate that gorgeous flatlay that I saw, or that perfect and so stylish outfit! I fell in this negative spiral where I was feeling like shit, I was feeling so bad that I stopped blogging for three months straight! Don’t let anything put you down like this.
I realized that I had to focus on what I wanted to comunicate with my pictures and develop that concept day by day. Learning is a never ending process.

First rule is, figure out what inspires YOU. What colors are you drawn by, warm tones or cool tones? What kind of photos attract your attention the most? Dark and moody ones or bright and airy pictures? Are you a minimal photograph lover or a busy and cluttered one?

Forget what everyone else is doing. On Pinterest you are just trying to understand what’s your style it’s drawn to, so it’s ok to look at loads of pictures and works from other unknown people. Instead you have to stop comparing yourself to other people work. People you already know as established blogger and excellent photographer!

Shoot daily, or as much as you can. No matter what’s your equipment, your phone, your dslr camera. Try to make the most of what you have, work with it and move things around. Creativity and experimenting is the key, in my opinion.
When I have to put together a flatlay or a simple display of products I start by visualizing what it will look like in my mind. From there I begin to display and move things around. It’s a trial and error process, but so much fun! Especially when you are proud of the result you came up with!
